Fintan McCollom Art

This is a three-layer screen print. The first two layers are flat gradients and the third is a bitmapped photograph. The symbol depicted here is my representation of a line from Taylor Swift’s song “Daylight.” The line reads, “I want to be defined by the things that I love. Not the things I hate. Not the things I’m afraid of. Not the things that haunt me in the middle of the night. I just think that you are what you love.”

This is the first symbol I have made that is continuous, referencing how the idea of love is continuous throughout time.
