Fintan McCollom Art

This was my first multi-layer print. Due to the nature of relief printing inks, they sink into each other and the colors bleed into the layer below, so truly contrasting colors are difficult to achieve. Knowing this, I chose to pick warm reds and then grayish blues that would not interfere too much but still create a strong contrast. This print taught me the value of perseverance, and it was also one of my first art works that includes a figure. It turned out very successful.
